About The Position

Meals Now is seeking a high-standard independent contractor to deliver catering orders in Sugar Land, Texas. Meals Now describes itself as a white-glove catering delivery company serving national brands. Drivers represent both Meals Now and its restaurant partners through professional, punctual, and courteous service. The role focuses exclusively on catering deliveries, not fast food, grocery delivery, or stacking gig work. Drivers pick up large catering orders from restaurant partners, deliver and set up food at offices, hospitals, schools, and event venues, follow instructions carefully, and take clean photos of each setup at drop-off. The stated delivery pay is $18–$50 or more per order, with weekly pay through GigSafe and additional incentives. Weekday morning and lunch availability is requested; the company’s business hours are 7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Sunday, with the busiest days generally Tuesday through Friday.

Requirements

Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
Hold a valid driver’s license and have vehicle insurance.
Have a smartphone with internet/data access.
Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts, 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
Be dependable and communicative, and take pride in the work.
