Meals Now is seeking a high-standard independent contractor to deliver catering orders in Sherman Oaks, California. Meals Now describes itself as a white-glove catering delivery company trusted by national brands. Drivers represent Meals Now and its restaurant partners by delivering catering orders professionally and consistently. This role focuses exclusively on catering delivery, not fast food, groceries, or gig stacking. Drivers pick up large catering orders from restaurant partners, deliver them to locations such as offices, hospitals, schools, and event venues, and set up the food at drop-off. Compensation is $18–$50+ per delivery, with weekly pay via Everee (Next Day) and additional incentives tied to on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data access.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts; the posting lists the hours as 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST.
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable, communicative, and take pride in the work.
Responsibilities
