About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company whose drivers represent the company and its restaurant partners. The role focuses exclusively on catering deliveries, not fast food, grocery deliveries, or gig stacking. Drivers pick up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners, deliver and set up food at locations such as office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues, follow delivery instructions carefully, take clean setup photos at drop-off, and provide professional, punctual, and courteous service. Drivers are independent contractors and are expected to be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Compensation is $18–$50+ per delivery, with weekly pay via Gigsafe (Next Day) and additional incentives tied to on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet or data access.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable and communicative, and take pride in the work.
