About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company trusted by national brands. Catering Delivery Drivers serve as an extension of Meals Now’s and its restaurant partners’ brands, delivering and setting up catering orders with professionalism, punctuality, and care. Drivers pick up large orders from restaurant partners and deliver them to locations such as offices, hospitals, schools, and event venues. The work focuses exclusively on catering delivery, not fast food, groceries, or gig stacking. Drivers communicate with dispatch through Onfleet and Slack and take clean photos of delivery setups. The position is for independent contractors serving the Sandy Springs, Georgia market, with weekday morning and lunch availability requested.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data access.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts (7 a.m.–2 p.m.).
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable, communicative, and take pride in the work.
Responsibilities
- Pick up large catering orders from restaurant partners.
- Deliver and set up food in office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues.
- Represent Meals Now and restaurant partners professionally, punctually, and courteously.
- Follow delivery instructions precisely and carefully.
- Take clean setup photos at drop-off.
- Communicate with the dispatch team via Onfleet and Slack.
