About The Position

Are you ready to take the "Southern Soul" of Edley’s Bar-B-Que on the road? We are looking for a high-energy Catering Coordinator to help us deliver nationally recognized BBQ and hospitality across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. As a Catering Coordinator, you are the face of Edley’s outside our restaurant walls.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License: A clean record and the ability to safely drive large delivery vans.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
Communication Skills: Proven ability to multi-task and communicate clearly with both restaurant staff and guests.
Flexibility: Availability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Professionalism: A polished appearance and a "customer-centric" sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

Follow-up on inbound calls and emails to build proposals and schedule catering orders for weddings, corporate events, and private functions
Answer questions about menu and services and make appropriate recommendations
Develop proposals and follow-up with potential customers in a timely manner
Foster relationships from point-of-contact through to follow-up after sale to ensure satisfaction
Record all activity in catering CRM and operations software
Communicate new orders, order changes, or customer concerns to management
Help confirm all orders are on restaurant schedules for preparation, delivery, and staffing
Work with outside partners to arrange event rental equipment, retain staff from staffing agencies, and rent additional vehicles as needed
Support catering manager on reports and administrative tasks as needed
Provide on-site supervision of team at events.
