While working at the on-campus café at our corporate headquarters in sunny St. Pete, you will play a pivotal role in helping keep our culture fueled by building relationships with our PDI employees and guests. Requirements

• At least 2-5 years of experience working in a field within the hospitality and service industry.
• Excellent customer service skills, including patience and a friendly demeanor.
• Engaging and outgoing personality to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve while ensuring a “customer first” mentality.
• Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers and clients to understand their catering needs and expectations.
• Planning menus in conjunction with chefs and management.
• Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of food and beverages on campus.
• Managing catering execution and providing direction and feedback.
• Maintaining health and safety regulations at all food service areas.
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up catering events.
• Handling client concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Managing budget and invoicing, ensuring payments and contracts are in order.
• Managing catering supplies and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of all catering events.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages as needed.
• Manage and maintain Surge restaurant application.
• Other cafe tasks as assigned.
