About The Position

Groovin' Gourmets, the catering division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, is seeking a Catering Cook for full-time and part-time positions. This role involves preparing dishes and meals in a scratch kitchen, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety. Occasional on-site event support for plating and working action stations is also required. Requirements

• Basic knowledge of kitchen terminology
• 3+ years kitchen experience
• Neat and professional appearance
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• For full-time, able to work 30-50 hours on weekdays and weekends
• For part-time, flexible scheduling on weekdays and weekends
• Saturday Shifts Required

Nice To Haves

• Previous catering cooking experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes and meals in a scratch kitchen by washing, chopping, cutting, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
• Garnish finished dishes.
• Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas.
• Cover, label, and date all food products.
• Follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
• Plate food and work action stations (carving, sandwiches, etc.) at occasional events.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment.
• Work in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.
