About The Position

Catering Clerks are responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. They will create carry-out catering products and trays, some from scratch and some built from prepared foods. They may also be required to operate a catering van to deliver products to guests.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year restaurant experience required.
Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing for long periods of time and walking.
Must be able to work in a fast, efficient, and controlled manner.
Must maintain a current Food Safety Certification.
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.

Nice To Haves

Culinary, Restaurant or Hospitality degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering their area or department.
Produce or gather all items for carry-out catering orders.
Make deliveries in the catering van as assigned by management.
Fill out production/transfer sheets for items needed for catering orders.
Distribute and follow up on all production/transfer sheets for other departments.
Maintain organization and sanitation of the catering work area.
Operate the register.
Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are performed.
Greet and speak politely with every guest on premises.
Perform other duties as requested or required by management.
