The Catering Bartender position at the National Geographic Museum involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The role requires adherence to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, setting up and stocking bars, maintaining garnishes and perishables, greeting guests, taking and processing drink orders, mixing and presenting drinks using standard recipes, checking IDs, detecting and acting upon guest inebriation, handling cash transactions, and performing general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards.
