Culinaire has an opening for full and part time CATERING ATTENDANT positions at the Detroit Institute of Arts. This role involves delivering and serving food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain, ensuring accurate execution of all events. Responsibilities include assembling and delivering food and supplies, maintaining food temperatures, arranging tables and decorations, serving guests, cleaning event areas, returning food and equipment to the catering facility, and distributing customer comment cards. The attendant will also stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment, ensure friendly and courteous service, maintain knowledge of the menu, and uphold a clean and safe work environment, following all safety and sanitation policies. A valid driver's license may be required, along with a food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where applicable.
