About The Position

This Account Lead supports the catering operations team by coordinating daily services on-site, acting as a key liaison between Sifted and our client, and performing crucial administrative tasks under the direction of the Executive Chef. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, directing on-site service, creating and printing daily menus, auditing host logs, and owning daily menu editing and display. This position requires approximately 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Flexibility in hours is required to accommodate early morning tasks and urgent requests.

Requirements

  • Has had experience with catering and event servicing
  • Experience in supervising employees in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably in catering or hospitality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Successful completion of Washington State Food Handler certification

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the main point of contact for our client, communicating directly with the client to resolve issues professionally and quickly
  • Addressing escalated needs as they arise during service
  • Serving as the lead host during service
  • Train and monitor performance of host team
  • Printing and organizing daily menu signs + dish cards
  • Audit host surveys and temperature logs
  • Coordinate orders and deliveries with Receiver
  • Printing/sharing Daily Host Numbers Sheet
  • Maintaining printed and digital menus
  • Maintaining the office
  • Inputting order data into Sifted technology
  • Assisting in station set up, setting teams up for success
