About The Position
Creative Dining Services at University of Saint Francis is looking for a Caterer in Fort Wayne, IN. Catering staff serves as partner with the catering team, alongside with the Catering Lead & Catering Manager. This includes the actual working of coffee breaks, receptions, and meals including set-up, service, and clean-up. Catering staff interact with customers/ guests at events with professionalism, service and grace. Get an opportunity to serve great hospitality and learn how to set up & serve a variety of caterings. This is a seasonal catering role requiring night and weekend availability.
Requirements
- Managing tasks independently.
- Arriving on time consistently.
- Creating positive guest experiences.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year minimum experience with food service and catering preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sets up, serves and cleans up dining room as directed.
- Interacts with guests and customers at events with professionalism, service and grace, upholding the customer service expectations of CDS and the client/account.
- Ensures all dishes, utensils, and other equipment from the storeroom are clean and properly returned to their correct place. Ensures proper lock-up procedures are followed and enforced.
