About The Position

The Cat Scan Technologist operates a CAT (Computerized Axial Tomography) scanner to obtain information that physicians use to diagnose patients’ illnesses. The technologist coordinates patient scheduling with departmental staff and participates in all activities related to performing the procedure.

This is a part-time position scheduled for 20 hours per week, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on a rotating schedule: three days one week and two days the next, including every other Friday. There is no on-call work, holiday work, or weekend work. Scheduling is subject to departmental needs. The position is located at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Successful graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology program.
• ARRT registration.
• CT certification, or obtain CT certification within 180 days of hire.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CAT scanner to obtain information physicians use to diagnose patients’ illnesses.
• Coordinate patient scheduling with departmental staff.
• Participate in all activities related to performing the procedure.
