About The Position

The CT Tech performs diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care at the Outpatient Imaging Center in Topeka, Kansas. This is a day-shift, full-time position. The role includes practicing radiation safety and dose reduction, educating patients about radiologic procedures and safety protocols, ensuring ordered exams are accurate and follow workflow policies, and handling department phone calls and scanning documentation.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology.
• Registered by the ARRT (R).
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care.
• Practice radiation safety consistently and use dose reduction when appropriate.
• Educate patients about radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure the ordered exam is accurate and comply with workflow guidelines and policies.
• Answer department phones professionally.
• Complete scanning documentation as required.
