The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to provide loving and quality care and service to our members living in our facility. Requirements

A valid Wisconsin nursing license (RN or LPN)
A valid CPR certification
Familiarity with care plans and HIPAA regulations
Experience in long-term care or assisted living settings

Responsibilities

Provide direct resident care following the treatment plan, this may include tasks such as administering medication, nebulizer treatments with pre/post assessments after education, etc.
Ensure that nursing notes are informative and complete regarding the cares and services provided to the resident.
Collaborate with the clinical team in establishing a treatment plan.
Ensure that resident’s charts are updated and free of errors.
Ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring, compassionate and dignified manner which recognizes the individual’s needs and rights.
