About The Position

Casual Educator at Goodstart Woy Woy, an Exceeding Rating centre, is a flexible, team-oriented professional role. This position involves supporting centres and children wherever and whenever needed, with a commitment to safety and inclusivity to ensure enriching and responsive learning experiences for every child. The role offers flexibility in choosing hours and locations, with opportunities to try out different centres to find the best fit. The employment type is casual, with shifts available Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 6:45 pm. The pay rate is $42.88 - $48.29 per hour plus superannuation and benefits.

Requirements

• Hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification
• Current Working with Children Check
• Willing to travel between other local services
• Flexible availability between Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 6:45pm

Nice To Haves

• Certificate III - Children's Services or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
