Casting Tooling Engineer
About The Position
As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love. This role combines technical expertise in tool & die design as well as high pressure die casting processes with strong project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, budget, suppliers, and ensure tooling meets quality, cost, and performance targets. The engineer oversees tool design reviews, development, validation, and continuous improvement efforts in fast pace and large scale powertrain and structural programs. Expertise in designing and developing new dies for high-pressure die casting from concept to launch.
