PDM, a leader in the HVAC industry with nearly 50 years of experience, is looking for mechanically inclined, self-starter individuals to join our team as Casting Operators! Our copper mill operates 24/7, and you'll be a crucial part of our operation, helping to produce top-quality products in a high-tech environment.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
A self-starter mindset who can take initiative and work with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail to monitor complex equipment and processes
A commitment to safety and following procedures every time
Solid teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively
Reliability, consistency, and the drive to grow within our company
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environments (hot in summer, cold in winter).
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform basic machine maintenance, manage casting molds, and control critical process parameters like cooling water and gas flow.
Stay alert to detect malfunctions, adjust settings, and keep detailed records to ensure product quality.
Responds appropriately and efficiently to unplanned process or equipment issues to help maintain safe and steady operations.
Communicate issues clearly, suggest improvements, and work closely with your team to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
