About The Position

The Final Audit will safely and efficiently inspect castings per customer standards prior to sending them to customer. As a member of the Grede team, you are expected to accept certain responsibilities, adhere to acceptable business principles in matters of personal conduct, and exhibit a high degree of personal integrity always.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Must wear protective safety equipment including goggles, face shield and special gloves, when necessary (steel toed shoes with metatarsal guard, safety eyewear, hearing protection)

Nice To Haves

• experience in a foundry or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify casting defects to determine if part is acceptable to be shipped
• Correctly fix any defects to ensure compliance with standard
• Accurately use all tools, gauges and instruments
• Perform all job functions as outlined in the Functional Job Analysis
• Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy
• Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
