About The Position
This role involves performing a variety of helper duties to assist in the set-up, adjustment, and operation of all casting lines. The position is located in Woodstock and operates on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm, with a rate of $30.07 plus a 5% shift differential. Labor Grade is 4.

Responsibilities
- Attend take-up end of machine.
- Stack materials and apply proper identification.
- Move material as necessary.
- Perform standardized weight and thickness checks on starts and during operation.
- Chart all checks on control charts.
- Make required calculations; record results, and report to operator.
- Operate computer as needed.
- Detect unusual conditions, defective material, or operating difficulties and report to operator or supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining/cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Rotate between duties as required.
