About The Position

To manage all casino operations, which includes maintaining the facility's operating license and enforcing gaming regulations, during the incumbent's shift on property. To act as the senior advisor to all departments on overall casino operations. To develop, enhance and maintain positive and effective relations with GUESTS and STAFF MEMBERS, and with municipal, state and federal authorities on casino and gaming operations. To motivate, train and manage staff to meet and exceed performance expectations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of casino operations and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, including contacts with STAFF MEMBERS, GUESTS, and State of Colorado Gaming and other regulatory officials.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience persuading and negotiating.
  • Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
  • Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Key Gaming License.
  • Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.

  • Preferably in table games or slot operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment and performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, including the use of safety equipment.
  • Manages all casino operations, including maintaining the facility's operating license and enforcing gaming regulations, during the shift.
  • Acts as the senior advisor to all departments on overall casino operations, including planning, organizing, and staffing.
  • Develops, enhances, and maintains positive and effective relations with customers, team members, and regulatory authorities.
  • Advises and recommends strategy to the casino management team for staff development through hiring, training, scheduling, rewarding, and disciplining.
  • Provides direction, advice, and recommendations regarding all casino operations and gaming regulations.
  • Authorizes complimentary casino services to customers or team members within limits.
  • Manages all casino operations and team members in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Accesses entry to all casino assets and restricted areas, as authorized.
  • Performs as a backup to casino staff when necessary.
  • Adheres to and reports to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work, arriving at meetings and appointments on time.
  • Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
