About The Position

As a Casino Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the table game and slot departments. This includes managing table game dealers, slot attendants, monitoring game activity, and ensuring a high level of customer service. The Casino Shift Manager will also assist in implementing and enforcing casino policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in table game operations and supervision within a casino environment.
  • Strong knowledge of various casino table games and gaming regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of casino management software is a plus.
  • Must meet all licensing and background check requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily management of all table games and slot machines.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead team members to ensure high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and motivating work environment that promotes teamwork, morale, and productivity.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of all tables, monitor slot and table game employee performance, and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
  • Supervise and schedule all casino employees, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to employees to enhance their skills and professionalism.
  • Ensure that guests always receive exceptional customer service.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve disputes promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere on the gaming floor.
  • Assist in enforcing all gaming regulations and casino policies.
  • Monitor table games for compliance with gaming laws and regulations.
  • Report any violations or suspicious activity to the senior leadership.
  • Maintain inventory of gaming equipment, chips, and supplies.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure proper maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
  • Analyze table game performance, including revenue, occupancy, and player behavior.
  • Provide recommendations for adjustments to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with casino security to ensure the safety and security of customers, staff, and assets.
  • Follow security protocols and emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Assist in conducting training sessions for new employees and ongoing training for current staff to ensure they stay updated on game rules and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of table game transactions, slot transactions, player ratings, and other relevant data.
  • Prepare reports for management as required.
  • Assist in managing the casino operations budget, including labor costs, supplies, and other expenses.
  • Make recommendations for cost-saving measures when appropriate.
