Cashiers & Housekeepers (Hiring All Shifts)
About The Position
LV Petroleum is hiring customer-oriented Cashiers and Housekeepers to work at its travel centers. Cashiers greet and assist customers, process transactions, maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions, keep cashier and dining areas clean, support teammates, and help monitor and restock inventory. Housekeepers maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including restrooms, break areas, and entrances; complete routine cleaning; assist with minor repairs and event setup and teardown; monitor janitorial supplies; provide friendly customer service; and follow safety and health regulations. Walk-in interviews are held weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the travel center at 13400 Rogers Drive, Rogers, MN.
Requirements
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Dependability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with orders and inquiries.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions.
- Keep cashier and dining areas clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient service and workflow.
- Monitor inventory and help restock items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, particularly restrooms, break areas, and entrances.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance, and alert management to major concerns.
- Help set up and tear down equipment for meetings and special events.
- Monitor janitorial supply levels and report supply needs to management.
- Provide friendly and approachable customer service.
- Follow safety and health regulations.
