About The Position

LV Petroleum is hiring Cashiers and Porters for its travel center in Huntington, Oregon. Porters help maintain clean, functional facilities and a welcoming environment for customers and employees. Cashiers process transactions accurately, provide customer service, and help maintain the travel center’s operating standards. Walk-in interviews are welcome at 5945 US-30, Huntington, OR 97907.

Requirements

• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash and transactions.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Dependability and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cashiering or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal systems.
• Assist with minor maintenance and report significant repairs to management.
• Set up and tear down for events or meetings when needed.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and organized.
• Greet guests and assist with inquiries.
• Greet customers and assist with purchases and inquiries.
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized cashier station and surrounding areas.
• Stay informed about products, promotions, and store policies.
• Assist with restocking and inventory management as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth and efficient operations.
