About The Position

The Cashier/Customer Service Associate reports to the Store Manager and helps ensure customer satisfaction by providing welcoming, professional service and accurately processing sales. The role includes keeping the store stocked, organized, clean, and safe; preparing food as needed; and supporting store operations, including pump maintenance and the use of systems and equipment. The position requires a flexible work schedule and may involve additional hours.

Requirements

Prior customer service experience; one year is preferred.
Dependable and reliable work ethic.
Enjoy interacting with people and collaborating in team settings.
Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and directions.
Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for prolonged periods, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting.
Some locations may require the ability to lift propane tanks weighing up to 40 pounds.
Occasional ability to work outdoors in adverse weather or temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service that encourages repeat business.
Process sales transactions accurately and according to established procedures.
Maintain a high level of customer service throughout each shift.
Stock merchandise according to the plan and management's guidance.
Prepare food as needed using kitchen equipment and following safe food-handling guidelines.
Perform pump maintenance according to protocols.
Assist the manager with operating systems and equipment.
Complete regular cleaning tasks and help maintain a clean, safe, and secure store and gas station.
Collaborate with the team to uphold service standards.
