About The Position

The Cashier provides personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships and deliver a brand-aligned experience. The role processes guest orders and payments accurately, assists with bagging and carryout, maintains a clean work area, and supports guest flow and the store team.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Demonstrated successful use of math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
• Ability to bend and lift to load guests' orders into cars.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process guest orders to ensure proper recording of sales.
• Accurately handle money and tenders to ensure proper accounting of transactions.
• Bag guest orders, place them in the cart or hand them to the guest, and follow Lowes Foods carryout practices.
• Work well with team members to grow community.
• Continually maintain a clean work area.
• Direct guests into checkout lanes to maintain guest flow and meet the Guest Arrival standard of no more than two guests waiting in one lane.
• Maintain cash controls and procedures to eliminate shrink.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
