About The Position

The Cashier processes guest orders and payments accurately, bags purchases, helps direct guests through checkout, and maintains a clean work area. The role involves working cooperatively with team members and providing effective guest service. This is a part-time position with flexible schedules.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly.
Ability to read and understand information and directions.
Successful use of math skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Effective communication and guest service skills.
Ability to retrieve and push shopping carts.
Ability to bend and lift to load guests’ orders into cars.

Responsibilities

Accurately process guest orders to ensure proper recording of sales.
Handle money and other tenders accurately to ensure proper accounting of transactions.
Bag customers’ orders, place them in carts or hand them to guests, and follow Floco Foods carryout practices.
Work well with team members to support the community.
Maintain a clean work area.
Direct guests into checkout lanes to maintain guest flow and meet the Guest Arrival standard of no more than two guests waiting at one lane.
Maintain cash controls and procedures to eliminate shrink.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
