About The Position

As a Cashier, you will provide efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane and create positive, memorable experiences for Meijer customers. You are the last touchpoint customers have before leaving the store, helping turn everyday interactions into meaningful moments. The role involves learning Meijer programs and promotions, using store systems to complete transactions, responsibly handling payments, answering questions, and supporting other tasks as needed. Weekend work is required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
• Be comfortable learning and using technology.
• Listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
• Be dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
• Be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
