About The Position
The Cashier is responsible for carrying out a variety of front-end store tasks, including operating a register, bagging groceries, collecting carts, and cleaning. The role provides customer service and aims to create a memorable experience for customers. Cashiers may also assist with stocking and maintaining store safety and sanitation standards. Applicants must be at least 18 years old; positions serving alcohol require employees to be at least 21. Internal transfer, promotion, or rehire candidates must have a recommendation from their current leader and provide an endorsement if requested by HR. Candidates may be asked to accept a part-time position if that is the only position available. Rehires require HRBP approval.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for positions that serve alcohol.
- Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Operate a register and accurately handle cash, credit and debit payments, and change.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints.
- Bag groceries and collect carts.
- Assist with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning, and dusting as needed.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout the store.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
