About The Position
Cashiers execute a variety of tasks throughout the front end of the store, including bagging groceries, collecting carts, and cleaning. They provide customers with a memorable experience and work safely in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service. Candidates must be at least 18 years old; employees in positions serving alcohol must be at least 21. Internal transfer, promotion, and rehire candidates need a recommendation from their current leader and may be asked to accept a part-time position if that is the only position available. Rehires must be approved by an HRBP.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.
- Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate a register and accurately handle cash, credit and debit payments, and change.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints.
- Assist with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning, and dusting as needed.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout the store.
- Bag groceries, collect carts, and perform cleaning tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
