About The Position

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will provide efficient and effective customer service in the checkout lane and create positive, memorable customer experiences. As the last point of contact before customers leave the store, you will help make everyday interactions meaningful and encourage customers to return. You will learn about Meijer programs and promotions, use store systems to complete transactions, handle payments responsibly, and assist with customer questions and concerns. You may also support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
• Comfortable learning and using technology.
• Able to listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
