Cashier (Part-Time) - Sioux Falls (E. 10th Street)
About The Position
The Cashier interacts with customers as they enter and leave the retail store, with the primary function of providing excellent customer service. The schedule varies and includes days, evenings (until 9 p.m.), and rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Applicants must be available to work evenings and/or weekends. The pay range is $14.50–$17.00, depending on experience. The Cashier reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. The role is performed in a retail store environment, with cold and warm conditions and an irregular work schedule. Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Frequent bending and twisting.
- Availability to work evenings and/or weekends.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers entering the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
- Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
- Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
- Handle customer returns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
