About The Position

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will provide efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane and create positive, lasting customer experiences. You are the last touchpoint customers have before leaving the store, helping make everyday interactions welcoming and memorable. You will use Meijer systems to complete transactions accurately, handle cash and payments responsibly, answer questions, resolve concerns, and support other tasks as needed to keep store operations running smoothly.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
Comfortable learning and using technology.
Able to listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
