About The Position

This is normally an entry-level position performed under close supervision. The role operates the cash register, assists with front-line food preparation, and may operate kitchen equipment as needed. It also includes wiping tables and maintaining a clean dining room and parking lot. The employee provides quick, efficient service and quality products, follows established policies and procedures, and helps maintain customer satisfaction through quality, service, and cleanliness. The position typically requires one to three months of experience to gain job knowledge, with customer contact of average duration and close supervision. The work area may have extreme temperatures and high noise levels at times. Employees may need to work without food or drink during busy periods. The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and stooping during 90% of shift time.

Requirements

Some high school courses preferred.
Must be clean, neat, and well groomed.
Good interpersonal communication skills for working with customers and other employees.
Good hearing to work with customers and fellow employees and to work the drive-through when necessary.
Honesty.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and read recipes.
Basic knowledge of fast-food operations and working knowledge of cash register and front-line preparation procedures.
Ability to pay attention to detail, cope with pressure, and remain calm when challenging situations arise.
Ability to work as a team member and perform duties with minimal disruption to customers or fellow employees.
Ability to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and stooping during 90% of shift time.
Good manual dexterity to work rapidly and accurately during rush periods.
Ability to help ensure consistent customer satisfaction through quality, service, and cleanliness.
Ability to count money and give change correctly.
One to three months of experience to gain job knowledge, as stated for the normally entry-level position.
