Cashier - Idlewild - Part-Time
About The Position
At Goodwill, donated items are turned into new beginnings, and store work helps fund community job training, education, and employment programs. The Cashier provides customer service at the register, helps keep the sales floor stocked and organized, maintains a clean and safe shopping environment, and supports donation operations. The position starts at $15 per hour, with annual raises and production bonuses. No experience is needed; cash handling experience is a plus. The role involves frequent standing, talking, listening, and hand use, as well as walking, reaching, pulling, and regularly lifting up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register by ringing sales, handling payments, bagging merchandise, and thanking customers.
- Keep the sales floor stocked and organized by moving clothing from the backroom, merchandising clothing by type and color, and keeping racks tidy and rotated.
- Maintain a clean, safe shopping environment, including dressing rooms and work areas.
- Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
- Support donation door operations and perform sorting and hanger tasks as needed.
- Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
