About The Position
The Cashier is a customer service position serving casino and hotel guests with their retail needs. The role also participates in store operations, including use of computer systems and management of cost of goods. Responsibilities may be changed, expanded, reduced, or removed to meet the company's business needs. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of previous work experience in cash handling and customer service in a similar operation.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Basic office skills and knowledge of computer programs, including MS Word and Outlook.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Ring up merchandise and handle cash.
- Provide customer service to hotel and casino guests.
- Sell merchandise.
- Handle inventory control for the outlet.
- Handle receiving and merchandising.
- Use the computer system for store operations.
- Prepare food.
