About The Position

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring a friendly and reliable Cashier, also described as a Customer Service Associate, to provide fast, friendly customer service and help keep the store clean, stocked, and operating smoothly. The role involves assisting customers with purchases and store services, maintaining merchandise and food and beverage equipment, and following safety, loss prevention, and age-restricted sales procedures. The pay range is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with a maximum pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours.
Able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs and climb ladders.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Basic math and computer skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
Ring up sales using the POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid card transactions.
Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment inside and outside.
Operate and maintain coffee, fountain drink, and hot food machines.
Restock and rotate merchandise using the FIFO method.
Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
Help customers with the pump, car wash, or air hose as needed.
Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits.
Follow laws governing age-restricted sales, including alcohol, tobacco, and lottery.
Complete required training and shift duties.
