About The Position

The Cashier interacts with customers as they enter and leave the retail store, with the primary purpose of providing excellent customer service. The role reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. Hours vary, with occasional night or weekend coverage assistance potentially needed. The work takes place in a retail store environment, including cold and warm conditions, with an irregular schedule.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to bend and twist frequently.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
• Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
• Handle cash accurately.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Handle customer returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
