About The Position

The Cashier helps perform day-to-day convenience store operations and is a vital member of the organization, helping ensure a positive customer experience and a good work environment for team members. This self-motivated, service-oriented individual is accountable for demonstrating Northdale’s culture of exceptional customer service and a team-oriented mindset. This is a temporary seasonal position for when the sugar beet harvest is in full swing.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Register sales on the cash register.
• Collect payments by accepting cash, checks, charge, or credit card payments from customers, and make change for cash customers when necessary.
• Maintain a positive work environment for all team members.
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
• Generate accurate till reports for each register.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform procedures to ensure the store is clean and stocked.
