About The Position

The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, and work areas. Duties include changing bed linens, removing trash, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and assisting room attendants with supplies and linens. The role also includes maintaining public areas, delivering supplies, replacing light bulbs, following chemical safety requirements, and providing friendly service to guests. Requirements

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Strip rooms by removing bed linens, terry, and trash.
Clean hallways, corridors, elevators, stairways, ice rooms, trash areas, and linen closets.
Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dust fixtures, frames, and equipment.
Polish metalwork, fixtures, and fittings.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Stock and deliver supplies.
Replace light bulbs.
Follow material safety data sheet regulations when using chemicals.
Report to work for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy.
Comply with company policies and procedures pertaining to the position and its duties.
Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
Perform other related duties as required.
Assist room attendants with supplies and linens.
