About The Position

Reno Mart is seeking a Cashier to join their team. This is a full-time, non-safety sensitive position with open availability required, including weekends. The role involves handling customer transactions, maintaining store appearance, stocking inventory, and preparing food items. The company promotes a drug-free and equal opportunity work environment.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members.
Positive attitude when working with customers.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be 18 years of age.
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.
Lifting up to 40lbs on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Handle cash, checks, and credit cards.
Count till at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying transactions and till balance.
Maintain store appearance by keeping everything neat and clean.
Stock inventory, including cigarettes, groceries, and items in cooler doors, fountain, and coffee areas.
Check and clean bathrooms.
Change trash, both in and outside.
Prepare and serve hot food items.
Ensure food preparation areas and equipment are clean and properly maintained.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
