About The Position

High Flying Foods is seeking a Cashier to join Lofty Coffee at San Diego International Airport. The role works in a dynamic, positive team environment and helps maintain high standards of service and operational excellence. The position requires open availability and involves serving guests in a fast-paced food-service setting.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a barista or cashier in food service.
Strong customer-service and cash-handling skills.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, and customers.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of the shift.
A valid Food Handler’s Card, or willingness to obtain one during training as required by law.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service.
Accurately enter orders and process payments.
Ensure orders are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Count the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Work collaboratively with the team to support a positive customer experience and workplace efficiency.
Follow safety protocols intended to protect team members and customers.
Respond to customer inquiries and refer them to management when appropriate.
Stock and maintain the station and complete cleaning duties as assigned by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
