PT Cashier Days/Evenings/Weekends Temp
About The Position
The Cashier is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and helping maintain a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is temporary and part-time, with days, evenings, and weekends listed in the role description. The starting pay range is USD $13.50 to $14.00 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
