About The Position

The Cashier Team Member supports The Fresh Market’s mission of making everyday eating extraordinary for guests. Team members may work in any store department, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and the Front-End. The role focuses on excellent guest service, helping guests find products and create meal solutions, keeping products stocked and merchandised, and maintaining a hospitable shopping environment. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests to understand their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests.
• Merchandise and stock products and specialty items throughout the day while assisting nearby guests.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Present a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards.
