About The Position

The Cashier Team Member helps The Fresh Market deliver its mission of making everyday eating extraordinary for guests. Team members may work in any store department, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and the Front-End. The pay range is $13.41–$13.98 per hour. This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• A passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests to understand their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests.
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day, while assisting nearby guests.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Present professionally, including adhering to uniform standards.
