Goodwill in Perry Township is seeking part-time Cashier/Sales Floor Associates. This role is crucial for delivering excellent customer service, fostering teamwork, and supporting Goodwill's overarching mission to transform lives and build a sustainable future. The Donated Goods Retail stores are integral to the community, actively promoting reuse, sustainability, and creating opportunities for everyone.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash
• Ability to identify quality, color tones, and merchandise categories
• Background check required

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail experience preferred
• Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer and donor service at every interaction
• Operate the POS system, handle transactions, and maintain accurate cash records
• Support programs such as Round Up and Good Points
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise sales floor inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
• Assist with training new team members
• Follow all agency policies, safety, and security procedures
• End every transaction with a positive message: "You changed a life today-thank you!"
