About The Position

Goodwill in Perry Township is hiring part-time Cashier/Sales Floor Associates. This role is for individuals passionate about customer service, teamwork, and helping others. The Donated Goods Retail stores are crucial in the community for promoting reuse, sustainability, and opportunity for all.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash
• Ability to identify quality, color tones, and merchandise categories
• Background check required

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer and donor service at every interaction
• Operate the POS system, handle transactions, and maintain accurate cash records
• Support programs such as Round Up and Good Points
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise sales floor inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
• Assist with training new team members
• Follow all agency policies, safety, and security procedures
• End every transaction with a positive message: "You changed a life today-thank you!"
