About The Position

Personal Touch Food Service is hiring for a cashier/prep role at Lewiston-Porter Central Schools! Requirements

• Highschool Diploma/GED required
• Customer Service Skills necessary
• Must possess basic math skills, ability to calculate production and recipes as required for guest counts.
• Must be able to work at a moderate to fast pace.

• Previous experience in cashiering, food prep, or customer service preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash register systems

• Flexibility to work during school hours, including mornings and afternoons

Responsibilities

• Process student and staff transactions accurately at the school cafeteria or snack bar
• Handle cash with integrity and attention to detail
• Prepare food items, beverages, or supplies as needed, following safety and hygiene standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area and cashier station
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
• Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
• Follow all safety protocols and school policies
• Assume other related duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager and Cook Manager.
