About The Position

Briar Cliff University is Hiring a Cashier/Front of House Brand Worker. We’re looking for a “Cashier/FOH Worker” because “Being Awesome” isn’t a job title we can use. The perfect recipe for a Cashier/FOH Worker on our team? A bit of sugar and spice, and a pinch of everything nice! Our best front of house workers love greeting guests, keeping the dining room neat and organized, and are great at helping others. You’ll be responsible for swiping meal cards and greeting customers, helping dining room attendant keep the dining room neat and tidy and reflectie of our brand. We are looking for someone who is the best-of-the-best in customer service and doesn't mind pitching in where needed. Requirements

Previous customer service experience preferred
Previous cash handling experience preferred
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
Complete Food Handler trainings as required by location

Responsibilities

Accurately operate a register/POS and handle meal transactions.
Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits
Adheres to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures
Oversee our "brand" and cleanliness in the dining room, proactively addressing any untidy areas
Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for unit based on operating hours
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.
Ensure product in location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed.
