CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
TouchPoint Support Services is hiring full-time and part-time Cashier/Food Service Workers at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee. The role supports hospitality services for patients, families, and visitors at Ascension Health hospitals. It operates the point-of-sale system, assists with food preparation and catering, prepares coffee, and maintains clean cashier and coffee stations. The position also includes cashiering and serving across retail areas, cleaning, stocking and inventory duties, serving-line setup, food temperature checks, and replenishing pantries and refrigerators. No previous experience is required. The pay range is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour. A $250 bonus is offered for perfect attendance during the first 90 days.

Responsibilities
- Help prepare meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
- Perform cashier duties using the point-of-sale system.
- Perform general cleaning duties and remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
- Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
- Process cashier transactions according to established procedures, maintain cash accuracy and receipts, and make deposits at the end of each shift.
- Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
- Set up the serving line, take and record temperatures, ensure temperatures are within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks when they are not.
- Serve hot and cold items to customers.
- Set up items for purchase each day.
- Keep refrigerators stocked and rotate products using the first-in, first-out rule.
- Stock pantries daily to the correct par levels and record replenished amounts on unit floor-stock forms.
- Record refrigerator temperatures daily on floor-stock forms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
